National Informatics Centre has issued a notification inviting eligible candidates to apply for 598 posts of Scientist – B, Scientist / Technical Assistant – A.

Salary Structure
- Scientist – ‘B’ (Group ‘A’) – Salary lies between Rs 56,100 – Rs 177500.
- Scientific officer / Engineer – SB (Group ‘B’) – Salary lies between Rs 44,900 to Rs 142400.
- Scientific / Technical Assistant – ‘A’ (Group B) – Salary lies between Rs 35400 to Rs 112400.
Age Limit for Applicants
- UR/ EWS candidate – 30 years
- SC/ ST candidate – 35 years (age relaxation included).
- OBC (Non creamy layer) candidate – 33 years.
- PWD candidate – 40 years
- PWD SC/ ST candidate – 45 years
- PWD (OBC- NCL) – 43 years
- UR/ EWS Service candidate – 35 years
- SC/ ST Service Candidate – 40 years

Education Qualification for NIC Recruitment
1. For Scientist – ‘B’ (Group A) – The Applicants must have completed BE/ B. Tech/ ME/ M.Tech/ M. Phil or equivalent degree from a recognized university.
2. Scientific Officer/ Engineer – Applicants must have completed BE/ B.Tech / ME/ M.Tech/ M.SC/ MCA degree or equivalent degree from a recognized university.
3. Scientific Technical Assistant – Applicants must have completed BE/ B.Tech/ ME/ M.Tech/ M.Sc. / MCA degree or equivalent degree from a recognized university.
