Motorola unveils the Razr 60 Plus and Razr 60 Ultra flip foldables.
Motorola has launched the latest generation of its foldable smartphones, unveiling an upgraded Razr series featuring three new clamshell models: the Razr, Razr Plus, and the all-new Razr Ultra.
With this latest launch, Motorola has expanded its foldable portfolio from two to three devices, offering consumers more variety and innovation. All three models feature a titanium-reinforced hinge, engineered for greater durability and capable of enduring up to 35% more folds than the previous generation — a significant boost in longevity.
One of the most notable upgrades is in battery performance. Each model now comes with a larger battery to support extended usage. The standard Razr is equipped with a 4,500mAh battery, the Razr Plus includes a 4,000mAh unit, and the top-tier Razr Ultra packs a 4,700mAh battery, delivering impressive endurance for all-day use.
The standard Motorola Razr retains its familiar 3.6-inch external display from the previous year, while the Razr Plus and Razr Ultra now sport a larger 4-inch cover screen, enhancing user interaction and multitasking capabilities. Similar to the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6, these premium foldables come with an IP48 rating, providing protection against dust particles larger than 1mm, making them more resistant to everyday wear.
At the top tier, the Razr Ultra is powered by Qualcomm’s cutting-edge Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, which features the advanced Oryon CPU, offering a 45% boost in performance. It also includes an improved Adreno GPU that delivers up to 40% better graphics, perfect for intensive gaming and media experiences. Meanwhile, the regular Razr is built around the MediaTek Dimensity 7400X processor, which ensures enhanced AI processing and offers a 15% performance increase over its predecessor.
Motorola elevates design with the Razr Ultra, offering four premium finishes: Alcantara, real wood, satin, and leather-inspired. It comes in striking Pantone colors like Scarab, Mountain Trail, Cabaret, and Rio Red.
The entry-level Razr features shades like Gibraltar Sea, Spring Bud, and Parfait Pink, while the Razr Plus offers stylish options such as Hot Pink, Midnight Blue, and Mocha Mousse.
