Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) official spokesman Arindam Bagchi reacted to Pakistan\u2019s exit from FATF grey list told the reporters that he was acquainted with the latest news related to Pakistan in the circumstance of the Financial Action Task Force (FATF) plenary in Paris.<\/p>\n

The Financial Action Task Force (FATF), acts as an inter- governmentally body it was launched to wage war against money laundering, terror funding and other related intimidating remark to the uprightness or rectitude of the
\nInternational Financial System.<\/p>\n

On Friday, FATF said that Pakistan is \u201cno longer subject to FATF\u2019S increased Monitoring process and now the country would carry on with APG (Asia Pacific Group on Money Laundering) to stimulate its AML and CFT (anti- money laundering &amp; Counter- terrorist Financial System\u201d.<\/p>\n

After the declaration Arindam Bagchi said, \u201cWe acknowledge that the country will return to work with the Asia Pacific Group on Money laundering (APG) to strengthen its Anti Money laundering (AML)\u201d.<\/p>\n

Pakistan has been enforced by the FATF to take some action against acclaimed terrorists or desperado, including those muddled in attacks against the whole international community in Mumbai on 26\/11, he continued saying that it is in worldwide engrossment that the world remains clear that Pakistan must resume to take reliable, empirical, irreparable or unrreparable and sustained action against terrorism and incendiary financial emerging from territories under its Jurisdiction.<\/p>\n

Pakistan Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif\u2019s Reaction to Pakistan\u2019s Exit from the FATF Grey List<\/h2>\n

PM Shehbaz Sharif gave his response to Pakistan\u2019s exit from the FATF grey list<\/a>. He tweeted \u201cPakistan passaging out from grey list is a vindication of our conviction and encouraged endeavor over the years.<\/p>\n

I would like to applaud and congratulate our civil &amp; military leadership as well as all institutions whose hard work led to today\u2019s Favorable outcome. (Congratulation to you all)\u201d.<\/p>\n
