Our Government has decided to issue guidelines for social media influencers. Social Media Influencer have to understand the responsibility, by following the set of guidelines or rules that are given by government to them.<\/span><\/p>\n

According to what experts are saying, celebrities will also be brought under the ambit of these guidelines. These guidelines have to be followed by every social media influencers and celebrities.<\/span><\/p>\n

Let us tell you that government has also prepared to impose fines<\/a> on those who will not follow the guideline.<\/span><\/p>\n

Central Government\u00a0 has issued the guidelines that if anyone does a paid promotion of any content as social media influencers, then he or she will have to give a disclaimer in that regard.<\/span><\/p>\n

So let’s tell you what to do and what not to do if you are a Social Media Influencer.<\/span><\/p>\n

Disclaimers have to be given for paid promotion<\/span><\/h2>\n

According to the information, it holds the main concern that the disclaimer has to be given if you are promoting any brand to avoid frauding. The guidelines which are issued by the Central Government actually highlights the main concern for giving the disclaimer if someone does a paid promotion of any content or material.<\/span><\/p>\n

And if he\/ she ignores the rules or do not follow the rules according to set guidelines, then CCPA will take action against him\/ her.<\/span><\/p>\n

A heavy penalty may be imposed<\/span><\/h2>\n

According to the news, there is a promotion to impose a fine of Rs 10 lakh on those who violate the rules. As CCPA has already clearly mentioned the rules, if the social media influencer repeatedly violates the rules, then they have to pay a heavy fine of Rs 10 lakh. The fine amount\u00a0 is common for everyone weather he\/ she is a big celebrity<\/a> or not.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

So It’s clear that whoever will try to violate the set of guidelines have to be pay Rs 10 lakh.<\/span><\/p>\n

Preparation to Curb Fake reviews given on e- commerce sites<\/span><\/h2>\n

According to the Department of consumer Affairs they are preparing themselves to curb fake reviews posted on e- commerce websites. The process of developing a framework for this has been completed. And that will also be revealed soon.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

In May this year, the department along with the Advertising Standards Council of India (ASCI) had a virtual meeting with stakeholders including e-commerce entities they discussed the impact of fake reviews on their platforms.<\/span><\/p>\n
