Kaun Banaega Crorepati 14 is all set to be telecast again on sony television on August 22.<\/span><\/p>\n

The basic rule of show is the same where the 10 participants are selected from thousands of applicants. Each of these contestants will be playing the fastest finger first competition. The one who answers the given question the fastest will be selected to sit on the HOT seat.<\/span><\/p>\n

In a new KBC promo, Mr. Bachhan congratulates a contestant named Santosh who has won Rs 1 crore. He goes on to ask him whether he would like to answer the next question. The contestant is beset by doubts as a montage is shown of several people reminding him that he would lose a lot of money if he gets the answer wrong.<\/span><\/p>\n

The biggest highlight of this year is the prize money \u2013 which has been bumped up to Rs. 7.5 crore. Sony TV has already started gaining<\/a> attention by saying:<\/span><\/p>\n

History of the show<\/h3>\n

Amitabh Bachchan has been the host for KBC ever since it premiered on small screens in 2000. It was only for the third season, that he was not a part of it. Shah Rukh Khan was the host for the season in 2008. Last year, the show celebrated the milestone of 1,000 episodes with host Amitabh Bachchan’s daughter Shweta Bachchan and granddaughter Navya Naveli Nanda onboard.<\/span><\/p>\n

Year’s Highlights<\/h3>\n

Aamir Khan, Bollywood superstar who is making headlines with his upcoming movie, along with Mary Kom will be the first celebrity contestants on the show.<\/span><\/p>\n

Kaun Banega Crorepati will be back for its 14th season, but with variations. The show will now have a new slot of Rs. 75 lakh.
