It was indeed a significant moment for India as the previous day on 13th January, Friday Prime Minister Narendra Modi officially starts the world’s longest MV Ganga Vilas Cruise.
This cruise is set to travel 3,200 km covering around 27 river systems of India and Bangladesh collectively in 51 days.
PM Modi said the opening of river cruise will advance touristy and generate new Job opportunities. As per the official statement, the opulence cruise has total three decks, 18 suites on board having a potential to carry 36 sightseers, will all the grand facilities.
Yesterday, 32 tourists from Switzerland get in for the entire length of the expedition. The 51- day cruise is arranged with 50 traveler spots that adds world heritage sites, national parks, River Ghats and many places in the city like Patna, Sahibganj, Kolkata, Guwahati and Dhaka in Bangladesh.
The PM Modi also inaugurated the Tent City at Varanasi that costs more than Rs 1,000 crore.
Trip Costs 20 Lakhs
The cost of MVA Ganga Vilas cruise is Approx Rs 25,000 to Rs 50,000 per day and it will cost Rs 20 lakh per traveler for the whole trip.
