World Mental Health Day 2022: Stick to these Tips to Improve Mental Health

Every year as on 10 October World Mental Health Day is celebrated all around the world. The Moto is simple let people know about their mental health and how they can improve their physical as well as mental health by
sticking to some tips.

In India we started National Mental Health program in 1982 its Moto was to enlarge mental health services.

According to the survey conducted by National Mental Health Survey which was published in the year 2016. 1 in 20 people in India is suffering from mental disorder.

According to section 21(4) – A of the Indian Mental Health Care Act, 2017 came up with there shall be no discrimination between mental illness and physical illness and it was mentioned that every insurer may use medical
insurance for their therapy of mental disorder as it does for the therapy of physical disorder.

Theme of World Mental Health Day 2022

This year the theme of World Mental Health day 2022 is “make Mental Health and well being for all a Global Priority”.

What give rise to Mental Illness

  •  Biotic components or chemical unbalanced in the cerebrum.
  •  Those who always feel that they are lonely or in aloneness.
  •  Trauma or bruises in the past like- child abuse, witnessed violence, sexual offence.
  •  A breakup or divorce of a person.
  •  Joblessness.
  •  Painful worry about something for a very long time.

Stick to these Tips to Improve your Mental Health

  •  Avoid uses of gadgets 1 hour after awaken in the morning and 1 hour before sleeping.
  •  It is mandatory to make a sleep schedule – try to sleep before 10 pm and try to repeat the schedule every day. This will surely improve the condition of your sleep. This helps a lot in ameliorating mental health.
  •  Drink herbal tea and ignore disproportionate consumption of caffeine because it can cause Cortical spike that can make you feel even more uneasy in lieu drink herbal tea like chamomile, lemon, bolm, mint, fennel, brahmi etc.
  •  Exercise at least 1 hour every day because it helps to relieve stress also asleep longer. First choose a physical activity that will benefit your body and health. It helps to avoid depression and anxiety.
  •  Stop blaming yourself. Do something what you want to do like watch movies, listen songs at least 15-20 minutes every day. Have time for yourself enjoy your company it is a part of self love.
  •  Start spending time with your Family and friends. Do not spent time always on phone but meet and spend time together it will be good for your mental health.

Most importantly, a person should not forget that time heals all wounds without thinking too much focus on yourself, build strong relationships with your loved ones it can be anyone your Friends, Family even an stranger, increase your efficiency, work on yourself image and do not forget to love and admire yourself to the Fullest.
