Vivo Unveils Y19 5G in India with Dust & Water Protection
Vivo launched its new budget 5G smartphone, the Y19 5G, in India on May 1, 2025. The phone has an IP64 rating, offering protection against dust and light water splashes—an uncommon feature in this price segment.
It sports a 6.74-inch HD+ LCD, supporting a 90Hz refresh rate and 700 nits of peak brightness for improved viewing under sunlight. The device is backed by a 5,500 mAh battery, and Vivo includes a 15W charger in the box for convenience.

Vivo’s latest version is equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 processor, paired with up to 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage, ensuring smooth performance in the budget segment.
It features a 13MP rear camera enhanced with smart AI tools such as Night Mode, Portrait, Pro Mode, AI Erase, AI Photo Enhance, and Document Scanning. On the front, a 5MP selfie lens handles video calls and self-portraits.
The Vivo Y19 5G is priced at ₹10,499 for the 4GB/64GB model, ₹11,499 for the 4GB/128GB model, and ₹12,999 for the 6GB/128GB model. It’s available through Flipkart, Vivo’s official store, and retail outlets in Titanium Silver and Majestic Green.
