Unveiling Global Technology Landscape: Insights Gleaned from 8th (GTS-2023)

India to start a highlight moment on geo-technology, the Global Technology Summit (GTS)  makes a comeback for its 8th iteration.  Organized collaboratively by the Policy Planning and Research Division of the Ministry of External Affairs. , Government of India, Carnegie India, GTS 2023 will be organized in New Delhi on December 4-6 2023.

Exploring the theme of the Geopolitical Landscape of technology, “GTS 2023 will convene global experts to examine technology’s transformative impact on the global stage.

The submission will commence with a keynote speech by India’s External Affairs Minister, Dr. S. Jaishankar, paving the way for three days of insightful exchanges.

GTS 2023 is an indispensable event for those seeking to delve into the intricate relationship between technology and global affairs. It will convene a global gathering of individuals from a diverse range of backgrounds and perspectives, comprising ministers and high-ranking government officials from India, the United States, the United Kingdom, Germany, Singapore, Sierra Leone,  Sri Lanka, Kenya, Brazil, Lithuania, and the European Union. These prominent delegates will engage in lively debates and exchange their viewpoints on technology matters. Apart, from govt. officials, the summit will also incorporate the participation of students and early-career professionals recognized as GTS fellows and Young ambassadors from Indian and South Asian regions. These promising young minds will gain invaluable networking opportunities with experts and policymakers and share their innovative ideas during the discussions. This Heterogeneous assemblage of participants from various spheres of expertise will ensure that GTS 2023 is a genuinely global event, bringing together a multitude of perspectives from across the globe.

It will boast a comprehensive schedule of over 40 public sessions, covering a diverse range of topics, throughout three days. The schedule features an array of keynote addresses by prominent figures, ministerial speeches by distinguished leaders from esteemed officials, panel discussions featuring a range of viewpoints, book launches by notable authors, and networking events for attendees to interact and collaborate along with a range of complementary events.  Encompassing the expertise of approximately 100 speakers, the summit will gather policymakers, industry leaders, academics, technological pioneers, and innovators from India and around the world.

GTS will delve into pressing technology-related challenges that shape geopolitical dynamics and policy decisions.
