Team India is out of the T20 World Cup after a humiliating 10- wickets loss against England in today’s second semi- final match in Adelaide stadium.
England team running after a cut- throat 169 for win, openers Alex Hales and Joss Buttler set down the highest collaboration in the field of history of the T20 World Cup to reach England into the finals.
Throughout the time defending 168 runs was not that trouble-free for Team India against England batting order. With the analytic win, England booked their tickets for Melbourne to play the final match against Pakistan on 13 November Sunday.
As Team India Knocked out of the T20 World Cup 2022, here are the main reasons where Team India went wrong in the semi- final against England.

1. Rahul’s wicket too soon – England captain Joss Buttler won a climacteric or pivotal toss and approach India to bat first. From the very start India had issues with their opener batsman not collaborating together. And this time also their pair didn’t work. KL Rahul getting out in the second over itself, turning pressure on the team. India has high expectation from the captain but that didn’t turn out to be the case with Chris Woakes forced to edge Rahul behind the stumps for just 5.
2. The hard- line Power play – After Rahul’s wicket, Virat Kholi and Rohit Sharma tried to play steadily but this play failed to handle power play curtailment. In the first 6 overs India only made 38 runs with England bowlers making certain that both the players were not able to score more runs and easy sixes and fours.
3. Surya was not in Form – India expectation were high from Surya Kumar Yadav. Every person were hoping that Surya will get team innings on drive back after a slow beginning, Adil Rashid got the crucial breakthrough in the 12 th over, dismissing Surya for only 14.
4. The Virat and Hardik batting gave India expectations – Virat and Hardik put on 61- run for the Fourth wicket. As Kholi completed his fifty in 18 th over soon Chris Jordan eliminated Kholi just at the crucial time to once again curbed India’s pace.
5. Hardik efforts were not Enough – In last 2 overs Hardik did try his best to increase the run pace. He along with Rishabh Pant collected 32 runs in the final 12 balls. Hardik scored 63 from 33 balls, but the score didn’t look enough for the robust England’s batsmen.
6. Team India Bowlers totally Fruitless – India bowler dealt seriously with Jos Buttler and Alex Hales Batting but they both didn’t allowed the bowlers to settle in. 6 bowlers used by India having economy rate of above 11 while 2 bowlers had it above 7.
