SSC GD 2022: Notification Out For 24 Thousand Posts of Constable Rank by 30 November, Check Eligibility and Qualification

Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has finally released more than 24 thousand posts of constable rank for lakhs of candidates who were waiting to appear in GD Constable Exam 2022.

According to the information issued by the commission on November 11 applicants are advised to apply for the online application as soon as possible and do not wait for the last date. Although fill the form before the schedule last date of November 30, 2022. The reason why candidates are advised to fill the form early is to avoid any potential risk of excessive users simultaneously and to avoid any kind of technical issues.

Candidates needs to visit the official website www.ssc.nic.in and then can apply for more than 24 thousand posts of constable rank in various armed forces (BSF, CRPF, ITBP, CISF, SSB, AR, SSF, NCB).

Fee for 24 Thousand Constable Recruitment

Candidates of SSC GD 2022 have to pay a fee of Rs 100, in which full exemption has been given to SC and ST candidates.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants of SSC GD 2022 should be 10th  pass from a from a recognized board and their age should not be less than 18 years and not more than 23 years as on 1st  January 2023. According to the notification relaxation will be given to the reserved categories, the upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for SC/ ST candidates, 3 years for OBC and Former Servicemen.

Also, applicants will also have to pass the prescribed physical standards that says the followings:-

  • Height for male candidates – 170 cms
  • Height for female candidates – 157 cms
  • Chest 80 cms without expansion for male candidates and with minimum expansion of 5 cms.
  • Male applicants should be able to run 5 km in 24 minutes and run 16 km in 61/2 minutes. On the other hand Female applicants should be able to run 1.6 km in 81/2 minutes and run 800 meters in 4 minutes.
