  1. Sania and her Russian partner Alisa Kleybanova won the prestigious junior girl’s doubles championship at Wimbledon beat the pair of Katerina bohmova and Michaella Krajicek this is a major success after she turned pro in 2003.
  2. In 2002 Sania teamed up with Indian tennis ace Leander Paes at the Asian Games in Busan south Korea where the team and Sania reached the semifinals of events defeating top seed Japanese pair Thomas shrimada and Shinobu asagoe and won a bronze medal at the 2002 Asian games.
  3. Sania and Bruno Soares won the 2014 US open mixed doubles as expected. They both beat the pair of Santiago Gonzalez and Abigail spears 6-1, 2-6,11-9 to win the title and in the quarter-final, they also defeated the sixth-seeded indo-Slovenian pair of Katarina srebotnik and Rohan bopana.
  4. The first major senior grand slam title for Sania mirza is the Australian Open mixed doubles in 2009. paired of Sania and Bhupathi entered the tournament as a wildcard. Practicing together helped made them super easy. They trounced the French -Israeli pair of Nathalie dechy and Andy ram in a 6-3,6-1 victory.
  5. She had a memorable 2015 pairing with Martina Hingis to assemble special results. before winning the Australian Open doubles in 2016. Sania along with her Swiss partners did not drop a single set throughout the tournament.

Sania Mirza is the first Indian female to be ranked in a Grand slam singles event and entered the 2006 Australian open as the 32nd seed.

She also won four gold medals in the afro Asian games in 2003 and become the athlete to win the most gold medals in the tournament. Won the French Open mixed doubles in 2012.
