Rajasthan New Chief Minister : Bhajan lal sharma and other Deputy Minister

BJP named Bhajan Lal Sharma as Rajasthan’s next Chief Minister. Secured a decisive success in recent Sanganer polls, defeating Congress candidate Pushpendra Bhardwaj by over 48,000 votes and playing a key role in the party’s decision. He will take oath as Chief Minister of Rajasthan on December 15.

Despite being in the race herself, Vasundhara Raje took the surprising step of proposing Bhajan Lal Sharma as the next Chief Minister, a decision ultimately approved by the BJP. “In a display of political acumen, Vasundhara Raje pushed past her ambition and nominated Bhajan Lal Sharma as BJP’s Chief Minister candidate, a move endorsed by the party”.

Briefing the press conference in his first interaction after being chosen as Rajasthan’s Chief Minister, Bhajan Lal pledged unwavering commitment from BJP’s MLA to fulfill the aspirations of the people. He emphasized a focus on holistic development in all areas under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

A crowded field of contenders

While Gajendra Shekhawat, Mahant Balaknath, Diya Kumari, Anita Bhadel, Manju Baghmar, and Arjun Ram Meghwal were also considered for the Rajasthan CM post, Bhajan Lal Sharma ultimately emerged victorious. Diya Kumari and Premchand Bairwa will serve as his deputies, with Vasudev Devnani taking the Speaker’s role.
