Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana is a scheme launched by the Central Government with the aim of bringing happiness on the faces of women belongs to poor families of India.
As you know the Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana has been started by the Prime Minister of our country, Narendra Modi. Through this scheme, our government has set a target of providing free gas connection to those who belongs to Below Poverty Line. It benefited a large number of women.
Till now more than 9 crore people get financial assistance of Rs 1600, and with this amount the beneficiary can get the gas connection. Along with this, EMI facility is also provided under this scheme to buy the stove and pay the cost of filling the LPG Cylinder for the first time.
Under this scheme, the finance Minister of our country Nirmala Sitharaman has announced to give the LPG gas connections to one crore more people in the budget of 2021- 22.

Procedure to Apply?
- First of all you have to go to the official website of Ujjwala Yojana.
- Now the home page will open in front of you. On the home page, click on the option of apply for PMUY connection.
- After this a dialog box will open.
- From this a dialog box, you have to select anyone of the following options.
- After this a new page will open. On this page you enter the asked information.
- Now you have to upload all the important documents.
- After that you have to click on Apply option.
