central Government came up with a Scheme named PM SVANidhi Yojana.
Under this, a loan of up to 10 thousand rupees is given without guarantee to start employment. The government started this scheme especially for the street vendors, who had to suffer heavy losses due to the corona
pandemic.
The name of this scheme is Prime Minister Street Vendors Self- Reliant Scheme (PM SVANidhi Yojana). This scheme was started on 2 nd July 2020. Through this scheme the government provides loan facility to the people
who install street vendors before March 24, 2020.
Subsidy is available on loan
The government provides loans to street vendors to start their work again under PM SVANidhi Yojana. Under this, they get a loan of 10 thousand rupees. The special feature of this scheme is that the government also provides subsidy on the loan. Once the loan is repaid, double amount can be taken as loan for the second time.
Loan is available without guarantee
Suppose someone took a loan of 10 thousand rupees for the first time under PM SVANidhi Yojana and he repaid it on time. In such a situation, he can take a loan of 20 thousand rupees under this scheme for the second
time. Similarly in the third time, he will be eligible for a loan of 50 thousand rupees.
The special thing no guarantee is required to take a loan under this scheme. Once the application is approved, the loan amount is transferred to your account in three times.
