PM – Shri scheme has been announced by PM Modi for upgrading 14,500 schools. Under this, approx 14,500 schools across the country are going to be developed as ideal schools.
This Yojana was approved in the meeting of the Union Cabinet chaired by PM Narendra Modi. This scheme will be implemented over a period of Five years from 2022- 2027.
According to the sources Rs 27,360 crore will be spent on this. PM- Shri Yojana will provide benefits to at least 18 lakh students who are studying in government school. Prime Minister announced this scheme through a
tweet, PM Narendra Modi said I am happy to announce a new initiative (PM- Shri Yojana).
The scheme under which 14,500 schools will be developed and upgraded across the country (India). All these will become model schools and will incorporate the full spirit of National Policy on Education (NEP).
In a modern and holistic way, schools will be imparted in the upgraded form. There will be special emphasis on modern and latest technology also smart classes, sports and modern infrastructure. These initiatives will change the education sector in recent years.
Through the scheme, the structure of the old school will be upgraded that will look beautiful, strong and attractive. Under this scheme, children of common people will get a chance to get good education through modern and upgraded scheme. Surely by this scheme student’s future will flourish and they will also become able to play their part in the development of the country.
The government schools which lacks education and technology will act like exemplary schools having quality teaching, learning and cognitive development, it will also create a good environment. Now the children can connect with smart schools even if they are poor.
