PM Narendra Modi mother Heeraben Modi passes away for heavenly abode after a century long stay on 30th December, 2022 at 3:30 am during the treatment at UN Mehta Heart Hospital.
Prime minister had various programmes scheduled but even after this sudden grief moment the programmes did not cancelled. One such programme was for the people of West Bengal in which inauguration of development works with a budget over Rs 7,800 crore is scheduled to be done through video conferencing.
Political leaders and notable influential people from all around the world also expressed their condolences for Heeraben Modi.
PM Modi shared his grief on a tweet this morning which stated.
“A glorious century rests at the feet of almighty…… In Maa, I have always felt that trinity, which contains the journey of an friar, the symbol of a selfless Karmayogi and a life committed to values.”
Family sources also gave their response on the demise.
“ We thank everyone for their prayers in these tough times. It is our humble request to everyone to keep the departed soul in their thoughts and continue with their pre decided schedule and commitments. That would be a befitting tribute to Heeraben.”
Home minister Amit Shah expressed deep sadness over the death of Heeraben and said.
“ Pm @narendramodi mother Hira ba’s heavenly demise is a immensely painful. Mother is the first friend and guru and lossing her is definitely biggest sorrow of the world one can have.”

In another tweet stating Heeraben Modi as a role model to everyone he tweeted.
“ With all the hardships and struggles through which Heeraben had nurtured the family is role model for all. Her selfless ascetic’s life will always be in our memories. Whole country in this moment of grief stands with PM Narendra Modi ji and his family. Prayers of millions of people is with you. Om shanti”.
Defense minister Rajnath Singh stated importance of mother’s in one life talking about the void which is impossible to fill.
“ I am deeply pained by the passing away of Heeraben, mother of Prime Minister Shri @Narendramodi. The death of a mother leaves such a void in one’s life that is impossible to fill. I express my condolences to the prime minister and his entire family in this hour of grief. Om shanti.”
Congress MP Rahul Gandhi expressed condolences over the demise of Heeraben Modi.
In one of the first responders from the Bollywood industry Kangna Ranaut expressed grief over demise of Heeraben on Instagram with a picture and wrote.
“ Almighty gives the patience and peace to Pradhan Mantri ji in this tough time. Om shanti”.
Akshay Kumar also shared his condolences for Heeraben Modi.
