PM Narendra Modi dedicated the 264 km Delhi- Dausa- Lalsot section of the Delhi- Mumbai Expressway on 12th February.
According to the officials the Delhi- Dausa Expressway costs more than Rs 12,150 crore, and the total cost of Delhi- Mumbai Expressway is around Rs 98,000 crores.
The route will cover six states such as Delhi, Maharashtra, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Haryana and Rajasthan and also connects towns such as Kota, Surat, Vadodara, Bhopal, Jaipur and Indore.
While Addressing the event, PM said that developing while developing magnificent road infrastructure is a start of progression, enhancement and connectivity in the National Capital.
Let us inform you that the advanced and country’s longest expressway once fully started.

The New Project of Expressway is anticipated to reduce the time gap between the political and financial capitals of the country from 24 hours to 12 hours. This is a 8- lane access- controlled Greenfield Expressway, although in near future it will expand up to 12- lane Expressway.
PM Modi laid the Foundation stone for 247 km of National Highway Projects that will be built at a cost of around Rs 6,000 crore.
He added that this development is the most advanced expressway in the world that represents a grand picture of growth in India. “For the last 9 years, the government is making huge investments in developing infrastructure like, Investments up to Rs 50,000 crores were made for the making of highways in Rajasthan. Recently present budget, allocated Rs 10 lakh crores for infrastructure project that is Five times more than that of Budget 2014”.
PM Modi said ‘with the construction of Delhi- Dausa – latest highway, the travel timing will reduce between Delhi and Jaipur. Also the Tourists attractions such as Sariska, Keoladeo National Park, Ranthambore and Jaipur will make big benefits from the highway construction’.
The second project aims to connect the Expressway with Ambala- Kotputli Corridor close to Ambala. This will help travelers from Haryana, Himachal, Punjab, Jammu & Kashmir, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra.
