England won the toss and chose to field first and chase the score in the T20 World Cup Final against Pakistan at the Melbourne Cricket Ground on Sunday.
The two teams were constant from their semi- finals. Prior, Pakistan assured their position in the semifinals after suffering the loss of their first two super 12 games winning the next three before defeating New Zealand of the final 4 with a 7 wicket victory.
Taking about the England team finished second in Group 1 of the super 12 with 7 points and defeated India by 10 wickets in their 2 nd semifinal to arrive the Final match of T20 World Cup 2022.

A great celebration and happiness at the Melbourne Cricket Ground! England team won the T20 World Cup for the second time in their cricket history. They are elated. For the Pakistan team and it was injustness to them, as they really spared no effort to win the match. But this was the day which truly belongs to England who become the invincible in the two formats.
Talking about some glimpse of their play so the run chase was the plan by the England team that gives a justification for the skipper’s plan to bowl first and restricted the opponent team to an imperfect total.
Babar Azam (c), Shan Masood and Shadab Khan played really well at the start however wickets kept dropping down at constant intermission which did not permitted the team’s batters to increase their run score. Sam Curran took 3 wickets for just 12 runs in his overs and was equally assisted by Chris Jordan.

The Pakistan team got stimulant early as Shaheen Afridi wallop in his starting over to put his team be back in the match.
However the runs kept loosing that paved the way for England coming once again to the contest. The critical point in the match for Pakistan was the wound of their brilliant bowler Shaheen Afridi who then wasn’t able to walk and have to go off the field without completing his overs.
On the other hand Jos Buttler led England team didn’t have a good start as they lost their in- form batman Alex Hales in the first over. Jos Buttler although dealt with the situation and perfectly counter moved to get the strength back in their favour. Ban Strokes and Harry Brook united the innings and scored 39 runs in 42 balls.
Pakistan set up a target of 137/ 8 still England defeated Pakistan by 5 wickets and crowned the tournament.
England played a 47- run cooperation for the fifth wicket with Ben Stokes left unbowed on 52 and took T20 World Cup with his team.
