Review of the Film
Anupama Parameswaran surely has a great deal of enthusiasm and energy, the Actor put her heart and soul into whatever she do, who made the movie enjoyable and interesting to watch. She managed the whole film on her shoulders and did a exceptional work as a strained woman about her sister’s children.
The film gets gripping when actress kids are missing and a few successive scenes increase interest. The climax part was also good, with some acute scenes and the turning point that come over the end which was done finely. Also the film gives a nice message that the makers tried to show. The movie is about life struggles and barbarity faced by women.
Although, the movie’s screenplay lacks the punch or thrill. After a few good scenes in the movie it will start playing on a loop as the scene doesn’t move forward and also you get many repeated scenes which can annoy the watchers.
The production values with clean, background score by Arviz & Gideon Katta is great and also the cinematography by Sameer Reddy is on point. Although, the editing team should have lessen the length of movie by deleting a few repeated parts.
Talking about the director, Ghanta Sathish Babu, he did an off- form job with the film. The narrative could have been filled with more enjoyable scenes.

Story of the Movie
Geetha (Anupama Parameswaran), a CA lives with her sister Vyjayanthi (Bhumika Chawla) who is a lawyer. Her sister leaves for Delhi and told Geetha to look after her kids. But the kids were missing, Geetha takes the help of her boyfriend Viswa (Nihal Kodhaty) in searching her kids.
The question arises that where the kids are, Were Geetha and Viswa successful in searching the kids? To get the answers you need to watch the movie which is currently streaming on Netflix.
Verdict – Entirely, Butterfly movie is a crime thriller than can be watched for the lead Anupama Parameswan’s acting alone. Apart from her role and a few interesting scenes, the film has not anything pleasing. However, you can watch the movie once and it ends up with just an average. Watch this movie on weekend.
