OnePlus Watch 3 release delayed until April 2025—Here’s why.
OnePlus has delayed the launch of its highly anticipated OnePlus Watch 3 to April 2025 due to a typographical error in the initial batch of units. As reported by 9to5Google, the issue involved a misprint on the back of the watch, where “Meda in China” appeared instead of “Made in China.”
Initially set for release on February 25, 2025, the OnePlus Watch 3 boasts several enhancements over its predecessor, including a larger 1.5-inch LTPO AMOLED display with a peak brightness of 2200 nits, a functional rotating crown, and upgraded health tracking features. Despite the setback, OnePlus has confirmed that the revised batch will be available in April.
“OnePlus has announced that the open sales date for the OnePlus Watch 3, originally scheduled for February 25, 2025, has been pushed to April 2025 due to a minor typographical error below the watch face. The company is addressing the issue with a new batch, while pre-orders for the corrected version will continue as planned from February 25,” 9to5Google reported.

Customers who pre-ordered the watch can keep the misprinted units as collector’s items or exchange them for a corrected version. As a goodwill gesture, OnePlus is also offering a $30 discount on pre-orders for the revised batch, lowering the price from $329 to $299.
