Mission Prarambh: Vikram-S India's First Privately Built Rocket, Launching on 15th November

A Mission that will surely going to give a commendatory nature to private sectors in the space sector, India’s first privately built rocket, Vikram- S, is equipped to launch from the Indian Space Research organization’s launching platform at Sriharikota on Tuesday i.e. 15 th November, Vikram- S is our country’s first private rocket advanced by a Hyderabad- Form startup Skyroot Aerospace.

The rocket is going to launch on a suborbital mission, titled as Prarambh, with three Cargos. The launch will come about at 11:30 am, as per the report by Skyroot Aerospace CEO and CO – Founder Pawan Kumar Chandana informed PTI. Aside from being the country’s first private rocket, it will also be the initial assignment of Skyroot Aerospace and can carry a total of three cargos in cosmic space. Out of them, only one will be foreign client and two will be Indian client.

Sky space Aerospace told PTI on Friday i.e. 11 th November, “Heartbeats hasten. All stares are up to the skies. The earth is paying. It all points to 15 th November 2022 for launch”.

Companies All Set to Send Cargos into the Cosmic Space

A 2.5 kg cargos, will be send in space by Vikram. The cargo will be send into the space by a Chennai- Formed Astrionics startup, Space kidz and is developed by students from our India, the US, Singapore and Indonesia. The prospering launch of the expedition will make Skyroot in space from India.

How This Space Launch to Vikram Sarabhai

The title of the launch rockets of Skyroot are kept ‘Vikram’ as this is a way to pay tribute to the originator or initiator of the Indian Space Programme and distinguished scientist Vikram Sarabhai.

Skyroot was founded in 2018, he also manufactured and invented India’s first privately advanced cryogenic hypergolic – liquid, solid fuel- based rocket engines. Also developed compound and 3D- edition mechanization to launch the rockets. With its favorable and encouraging execution, Skyroot was in a position to increase USD 51 million through a series- B funding round in September 2022. More than this, the firm collected USD 11 million in another Financing round, series – A in the previous year.
