The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) promulgated the IPL 2023 schedule on 17th February and the first Match will held about on 31st March between Hardik Pandya’s led Gujarat Titans and MS Dhoni led Chennai Super Kings at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.
According to this year IPL schedule, there will be 12 venues where IPL teams will play. The popular tournament arrived home and away format after three years.
All the teams will play 7 matches each away and home in the tournament this year. The 1st match of this IPL league is perfect fitting that last year’s tournament winners Gujarat Titans is playing against Four- time champions Chennai Super Kings at one of the largest Stadium in the world – The Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad, India.
Mahendra Singh Dhoni will be playing his last home game on this 16th May at Chennai against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR). Dhoni led team will play their 2nd game against Lucknow Super Giants on 3rd April, well that will be
their first home game here.

Chennai Super Kings will face long time opponents Rohit Sharma’s team Mumbai Indians on 8th April, the match will be played at Wankhede stadium.
The return Fixture is scheduled on 6th May in Chennai.
Five- time tournament winner MI will play their 1st Match against Royal challenges Bangalore on 2nd April, the match will be played at M Chinnaswamy Stadium. Another big tussle will be between CSK against Virat Kohli led team RCB on 17th April in Bengaluru.
Royal challenge Bangalore have never actually won the league and on this league they must be praying to end the never winning tag. The day games will start at 3:30 pm IST and the evening game will start at 07:30 pm IST. Also this time two new venues added to the list.
They are Guwahati and Dharamshala. The team Rajasthan Royals (RR) will be playing their 1st two home games in newly added venue Guwahati before playing the reminder of their home games at Jaipur Stadium.
Punjab Kings will be playing their 5 home matches in Mohali before going to Dharamshala for last two home games facing Delhi Capitals and Rajasthan Royals (RR).
