Intelligence Bureau Recruitment 2022: An offer from the Ministry of Home Affairs has invited Intelligent Bureau Recruitment 2022 for 766 posts. Interested candidates can check the official notification. The recruitment will be held for Group C and Group D posts.

Applicants must ensure their eligibility for the post they are applying for. The last date to apply for the job is August 19, 2022.

Candidates who get shortlisted on the recruitment drive would be posted on deputation. Only offline applications are being entertained. Interested candidates can get further details about the positions and the eligibility requirements on the website www.mha.gov.in.

The total number of vacancies in different posts is as follows –

  • For the post of ACIO I and ACIO II (Exe) – 70 and 350 respectively
  • For the post of JIO I and JIO II (Exe) – 50 and 100 respectively
  • For the post of JIO I and JIO II (MT) – 20 and 35 respectively
  • For the post of JIO II (Tech) – 7
  • For the post of SA Exe and MT – 100 and 20 respectively
  • For the post of a caretaker – 5For the post of a cook – 9

Intelligence Bureau Recruitment 2022: Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification: The applicant must graduate from a recognised university. For the post of Halwai-cum-cook, the applicant should be 8thpass or above. The applicant must be a citizen of India and show relevant documentation to support the same.

A mandatory work experience is required which differs based on the post that the applicant is applying for. For instance, the post of ACIO involves a minimum of two years of experience in security or intelligence work, whereas, for the post of JIO, candidates should have a minimum of five years’ service in the “grade rendered after the appointment.

Age limit: The applicant must not exceed the age of 56 years.

How to apply

The application of willing and eligible officers, who have completed a cooling-off period 3 years since the last deputation, and who have previously not undergone more than 1 deputation, may be forwarded with the required documents so as to reach the Assistant Director/G-3, Intelligence Bureau, Ministry of Home Affairs, 35 S P Marg, Bapu Dham, New Delhi-110021 on or before 19th August 2022. The Last Date Of Receipt of nominations would be 60 days from the date of publication of the advertisement in employment news.
