Indigo Flight Stranded at Delhi Airport When Engine Ignites during Take- off

Bengaluru – destined Indigo Flight was stranded at Delhi airport due to a suspicion of spark in the aircraft engine. Indigo Flight 6E- 2131 was called off after an engine caught fire and all passengers were extricated from the flight.

Although, no one got hurt and all 177 passengers and Flight’s seven crew members are purportedly safe. A passenger said this incident was a scary experience, who was on board during the occurrence, also he shared a video on Twitter.

In that video, flames could be seen manifestating from the parts close to the engine of the aircraft as passengers cry one’s eyes out for aid in the middle of tempestuous.

Reports at the Indra Gandhi International Airport said at 22.08 hours the airport central room gets a call from the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) control room in regard to the blazing National Capital to Bengaluru.

They told that the Flight was carrying 177 passengers and seven crew members. The Union Ministry of Civil Aviation has given the order to inquest into the incident.

Soon after the accident, Indigo Airlines issued a a statement – “An aircraft of flight 6E2131 from Delhi to Bangalore faced a technical problem when it was taking off. Soon after which the pilot called off the take-off and the aircraft went back to the bay.

Many Flights are being prevented from flying because of technical malfunction, raising serious concerns about the protection of all passengers during domiciliary travel. In July, a Mumbai – Leh Go First (Formerly Goair) aircraft had to be side tracked to Delhi because of a lacking or malfunction in one of its engines.

If we talk about other occurrence, a Srinagar Flight of the some airlines had to go to its starting point after malfunction was noticed in one of its engines.
