Indian firms added to U.K., EU Russia sanctions.
On the third anniversary of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, the European Union (EU) and the U.K. imposed a new round of sanctions targeting Moscow and its business affiliates. Among those affected by these measures are Indian entities. The announcement coincided with visits to Kyiv by several Western leaders, including European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen, as a demonstration of solidarity with Ukraine.
