India is setting up digital university which will cut the cost of higher and skill education acutely in the country, Union Minister Pradhan said.
The Minister for Education and Skill Development and Entrepreneurship shared that many entry and exit points are being made in the country’s education system to provide flexibility across the general and skill education to younger generation of India.
India is setting up Digital University that will acutely cut the cost of higher education and skill education and raise the ease of access or obtainability to a wide variety of country’s education, acquiring new skills programmes, as per the Union Minister Pradhan Statement in Virtual address to the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Summit on 20th February, Monday.
The SCO is a permanent inter- government international organization including 8 participants – India, China, Pakistan, Russia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tijikistan and Uzbekistan making stronger bilateral association and territorial security.
Pradhan added “we are now making many entry and exit points in the country’s education system which will provide students the horizontal and vertical mobility across regulations”.
NEP to Globalize India’s Education System
Dharmendra Pradhan claims that the execution of National Education Policy (NEP) is focusing on globalization of India’s Education System for the betterment of the world.
S. Jaishankar, external affairs minister, highlighted the significance of having a large number of global students concerning the spread of awareness of International development among Indian students.
