India deemed China’s falsified, rejected names for Arunachal Pradesh
The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) addressed media inquiries following China’s release of a fourth list of renaming places in Arunachal Pradesh. This action comes amidst China’s recent intensification of efforts to bolster its claim on the Indian state.
In a strong response or a riposte to China’s latest attempt to rename locations in Arunachal Pradesh, India’s Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) they are declared such actions futile. The MEA emphasized that Arunachal Pradesh is, and always will be, an inseparable part of India, and China’s name changes hold no weight.
Reiterating India’s firm stance, MEA spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal denounced China’s repeated, illogical efforts to rename locations within Arunachal Pradesh. He emphasized that these name changes are meaningless, as Arunachal Pradesh has always been and will always remain an unshakeable part of India.
India reiterated its unwavering position on Arunachal Pradesh on March 28th. The statement acknowledged that China may continue to make unsubstantiated claims, but this will not affect India’s view. Arunachal Pradesh has always been, and will always be, an inseparable part of India.
During a routine press conference on March 28th, MEA spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal addressed a reporter’s question regarding China’s renewed claims on Arunachal Pradesh. Mr. Jaiswal firmly dismissed these claims, highlighting their lack of merit. He emphasized that India’s position remains unwavering: Arunachal Pradesh was, is, and always will be an integral part of the country. This statement came shortly after China’s Foreign Ministry spokesperson reiterated their disputed claim.
