On an auspicious Sunday i.e. 28th May’23, bathed in anticipation, Prime Minister Narendra Modi shall unveil the grand edifice of the novel Parliament building. The ceremony for the inauguration of the new Parliament building will start early in the morning with a havan, which is a religious ritual, and a prayer that includes people from different religions. After that, Prime Minister Modi will officially open the Lok Sabha, which is a part of the Parliament.
Twenty opposition parties, such as the Congress, Left, TMC, SP, and AAP, have joined together and declared that they will not participate in the inauguration of the new building by the prime minister. They believe that the new building doesn’t hold any importance because they think the true spirit of democracy has been lost or taken away.
Beside this the new complex will be truly magnificent! It will have a special Constitution Hall where India’s democratic history will be showcased with pride. Members of Parliament will also have a comfortable lounge to relax in, and there will be a library with lots of books. Many committee rooms will be available for important discussions, and there will be spacious dining areas too. Not to forget, there will be plenty of parking space.
The opening ceremony of the inauguration will be a grand affair, lasting the whole day. It has been planned carefully, with two different sections that will make the event even more splendid.
Furthermore the havan, a religious ritual, will take place outside the new Parliament building at 7 a.m. During this auspicious event, the ceremonial sceptre Sengol will be presented to Prime Minister Modi by senior priests from the Shaivite order, as reported by officials quoted by PTI. According to ANI, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla, Deputy Chairman Hariwansh, and a few other high-ranking officials are expected to attend the morning pujas.
