Halloween Ceremony in South Korea Turns Deathly, At least 151 Died, 150 Injured in Stampede

At least 151 people died and more than 150 others were left bruised after being mashed by a vast throng of people pushing further on a tapering street during Halloween ceremony in a central district of the South Korean capital.

More than 140 ambulances were sent off to the location of aid the injured, news agency AFP cited a Fire brigade officer as stating.

Prior, Yonhap news organization has stated that at least 50 people suffered coronary or heart attack in the capital Seoul’s adjacent location.

During the interval, Choi Cheon-sik, a National Fire Brigade official, had told that a mass of the people gushed in the Itaewon sabbatical district on Saturday night followed to 100 bruises, and at least 50 people were taking treatment for ceremony or heart attack.

The mass of people began pushing and shoving people out of the way in a narrow street close to Hamilton Hotel and people were purportedly killed by being crushed. More than 140 vehicles from within the country were installed to the alley in order to provide aid to the bruised people.

During the time, the National fire organization had stated a discrete saying that officials were still functioning to find out the accurate number of extremity patients. In social media videos it can be clearly seen rescue officers and citizens helping various people on the location.

In regards to the accident, South Korea’s President Yoon Suk- yeol instructed and commanded the transmit of an emergency medical group to the location and asked hospitals to make preparation or arrange extra beds so as to curtail facility. The survivor, surnamed Kim said they were gripped for almost an hour before being saved from danger, as many people seen yelling “Help me!” and others were facing breathing problem.

Another survivor, named Lee Chang- kyu cited he saw around five men pushing further others before one or two began falling over.
