Yesterday, a special event took place on Guru Purnima at the Allen East Center in Texas, USA. Around ten thousand people gathered together to recite the Bhagavad Gita. It was a significant occasion as it was the first time such a large-scale recitation of the Bhagavad Gita happened in America.
The purpose of this event was to highlight the significance of the sacred scripture as a guiding light in one’s spiritual journey. And The event was organized by two organizations, namely Yoga Sangeeta Trust America and SGS Geeta Foundation.
Although the organizers of this remarkable gathering were Yoga Sangeeta Trust America and SGS Geeta Foundation.
Beside the event was not only remarkable in terms of the number of people attending but also in its impact. A video lasting for a minute and thirty seconds captured the essence of the gathering. It showed both children and adults actively participating in the recitation of the Bhagavad Gita at the Allen East Center in Texas.

Spiritual guru Pujya Ganpati Sachidanand led the religious event, which was attended by people of varying age groups.

Also People came together to show their respect and gratitude towards their gurus (spiritual teachers) and also took part in a sacred ritual of bathing in the holy Ganges River.
