Gulmohar Review and Story – Manoj Bajpayee, Sharmila Tagore Shining in Extremely Watchable Family Drama

Gulmohar, a family Drama Casting Manohar Bajpayee and Sharmila Tagore, premiered on Disney + Hot Star on 3rd March.

Gracefully scripted and brilliant performed, Gulmohar comes as a delightful piece of Art after a while, Rahul Vchittella’s latest family drama on Disney + Hot Star, Gulmohar, is inspired by the real story the sale of famed Mira Nair’s Delhi house.

For her the house is not only a house, but a home to generations of families, who leave behind reminiscences, their confidential matters and the drama. That is why it becomes real tough to sell the house. The Drama Gulmohar boasts of an imposing Actors and an equally gripping story. The family Batras have resided in Golmohar for generations.

When they plan to sell the house to a builder, the family celebrated their last party there. The scene in the drama get its inspiration from the party Nair hosted at her Vasant Vihar home.

After a few days, Kusum (Sharmila Tagore) son Arun (Manoj Bajpayee), Arun’ wife Indu (Simran) and their son Aditya (Suraj Sharma) have to make strenuous efforts in the face of difficulties of what all have been said and above all, what remains to be said, nay revealed! In the middle of the story Indu finds a will written by Arun’s father, that discloses a awful secret that Arun is not a biological son, but adopted and that is why the house Gulmohar will go to his Sibling (Amol Palekar) and then his son.

He thinks that in last only blood relationships matter. After listening the terrible news, Arun gets upset and beyond words. Bajpayee as a son performs the Act with panache, and puts out the qualities of a man who is so devastated. And his son Aditya (another brilliant act by Suraj Sharma) does not want to live with his dad. Here watchers will see a clear scenario of generational gap. The Drama does not lend any confusion in the last and is an extremely lovable Drama.
