Get ready for Nothing's next move - the Phone 2a Plus.

Nothing throws another exciting surprise into the tech ring at a recent launch event! They’ve officially announced the upcoming Phone 2a Plus on July 31st. But true to form, Nothing remains tight-lipped on most details, only revealing the name and a cryptic image. This has fans buzzing with anticipation, eager to see what this new addition to the Nothing family has in store.

Nothing’s staying tight-lipped on the Phone 2a Plus details, but they’ve thrown us a curveball with a teaser image. The picture reveals a unique texture, suggesting a possible design departure from the Phone 2a. However, they could also stick with the familiar look. We’ll have to wait and see!

Speculation is rife about the reason behind the Plus version. Some believe it’s a response to the delayed Nothing Phone 3, keeping fans satiated with an upgrade for 2024. The Phone 2a Plus could bridge the gap with potentially better specs.

The teaser image fuels the fire with hints of a new grey and black color scheme. The cryptic caption “Plus, More, Extra” tantalizes fans with the possibility of a larger display and improved features.

Akis Evangelidis, Nothing’s co-founder, offered some insights on X (formerly Twitter): “The Phone (2a) Plus is a souped-up version for demanding users who crave extra processing power. We’ve also snuck in some clever software enhancements. Finally, we dressed it up in a fresh look that reflects these upgrades.” Sounds exciting, doesn’t it?

Pricing remains a mystery. While the Phone 2a launched at Rs 23,999 and the Phone 2 sits at Rs 44,999, the Phone 2a Plus is anyone’s guess – we’re thinking around Rs 30,000 for now.

It also claims the thinnest bezels in Nothing’s lineup at a mere 2.1mm all around. A 5,000mAh battery with 45W fast charging keeps you powered up (but bring your charger!).
