After months of whispers, Reliance Jio, Airtel, and Vodafone Idea (Vi) are raising prices on their phone plans, both prepaid and postpaid. But there’s some good news: you can still recharge with the older plans before the new ones kick in on July 3rd for Jio and Airtel, and July 4th for Vi. Jio’s one-month prepaid plans have seen substantial adjustments. The entry-level plan, priced at Rs 155, will now cost Rs 189. This plan includes unlimited voice calls, 2GB of data, and SMS benefits for 28 days. The popular Rs 249 plan has been increased to Rs 299 and offers 1GB of data per day along with unlimited calls and SMS.

The Rs 399 plan, up from Rs 349 for higher data needs, provides 2.5GB of daily data. The Rs 449 plan, previously Rs 399, now offers 3GB of daily data for 28 days, making it a suitable choice for heavy data users.

Two-month plans have also been revised. The Rs 579 plan now costs Rs 629, providing 1.5GB of data daily, while the Rs 629 plan, formerly Rs 533, offers 2GB of data per day for 56 days.

Jio’s phone plans are going up in price! Here’s a breakdown of the changes:

• Short-term plans (1 month):
  • Basic plan (2GB data): Rs 155 to Rs 189
  • Popular plan (1GB data/day): Rs 249 to Rs 299
  • High data plan (2.5GB data/day): Rs 349 to Rs 399
  • Heaviest data plan (3GB data/day): Rs 399 to Rs 449
• Long-term plans (3 months & annual):
  • 3-month plan (1.5GB data/day): Rs 666 to Rs 799
  • 3-month plan (3GB data/day): Rs 999 to Rs 1199
  • Annual plan (2.5GB data/day): Rs 2999 to Rs 3599
• Postpaid plans:
  • Basic plan (30GB data): Rs 299 to Rs 349
  • High data plan (75GB data): Rs 399 to Rs 449

Airtel is joining Jio in raising phone plan prices. Here’s what’s changing:

• Prepaid plans:
  • Basic plan (2GB data): Rs 179 to Rs 199 (includes unlimited calls & 100 SMS)
  • Mid-tier plan (1.5GB data/day): Rs 299 to Rs 349
  • High data plan (3GB data/day): Rs 399 to Rs 449 (valid for 28 days)
  • Long validity plan (1.5GB data/day for 56 days): Rs 479 to Rs 579
  • 3-month plan (1.5GB data/day): Rs 719 to Rs 859
  • Annual plan (24GB data): Rs 1799 to Rs 1999

Airtel also updated their postpaid plans:

• The Rs 449 plan now offers more data (40GB with rollover) for the same price, along with unlimited calls and 100 SMS per day.
• The Rs 999 plan, perfect for families, now includes a whopping 190GB of data and subscriptions to popular streaming services!

Vi joins the price hike party! Here’s what’s changing for their plans:

• Prepaid plans:
  • Unlimited voice calls:
    • 28-day plan (2GB data): Rs 179 to Rs 199 (includes 300 SMS)
    • 84-day plan (6GB data): Rs 459 to Rs 509 (includes 300 SMS)
    • Annual plan (24GB data): Rs 1799 to Rs 1999 (includes 300 SMS)
  • Daily data plans:
    • 1GB/day (28 days): Rs 269 to Rs 299 (includes unlimited calls & 100 SMS)
    • 1.5GB/day (28 days): Rs 299 to Rs 349 (unlimited calls, 100 SMS, bonus features like midnight data & weekend rollover)
    • 2GB/day (28 days): Rs 319 to Rs 379 (same bonus features as 1.5GB plan)

    • Rs 501 plan (90GB data): Now includes up to 200GB rollover, unlimited calls, night data, 3000 SMS, and two free service choices. The price goes from Rs 501 to Rs 551.
      • Family plans (price increases and include up to 200GB rollover, unlimited calls, night data, 3000 SMS, and benefits like Amazon Prime):

        • 4-line plan (140GB + 40GB/line): Rs 1001 to Rs 1201
