Apple delays its AI, Apple Intelligence.
Originally planned for iOS 18 in September, the tech giant will release it in October with iOS 18.1. Apple needs more time to fix bugs and improve the system before a wider release. Developers will get early access to test Apple Intelligence soon.
The tech giant is delaying the full release to perfect the AI features and ensure a seamless user experience. By involving developers early, Apple aims to identify and fix issues before the official launch. To manage expectations and focus on core functionalities, some AI features will be introduced gradually.
Due to the delay in Apple Intelligence, the initial iPhone 16 models will not have all the promised AI features. The Siri upgrade, which was expected to be a major highlight, has been pushed back to 2025. While iOS 18.1 will introduce some AI capabilities, users must wait for a more comprehensive AI experience.
Email management
With Priority Messages, users can effortlessly identify and prioritize important emails. Smart Reply will offer quick and efficient responses, while the system ensures all email queries are addressed comprehensively. Additionally, Apple Intelligence will streamline notifications, delivering only the most crucial updates and reducing distractions.
