Ambati Rayudu switched his cricket bat for political career

Ambati Rayudu switched his cricket bat for a political career today, officially joining Andhra Pradesh’s ruling party YSRCP in a ceremony witnessed by Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy and attended by prominent figures such as Deputy CM Narayan Swamy and MP Peddireddy Mithun Reddy. The ceremony commenced at the Chief Minister’s Camp Office in Vijayawada and was a star-studded affair with the CM himself welcoming Rayudu into the party fold.

Former Indian cricketer Ambati Rayudu, known as “Mr. Cricket” for his stylish batting, also leaped into politics today by joining YSRCP party. He stepped onto the political pitch after turning out for Andhra Pradesh in the Ranji Trophy and other domestic tournaments.
