Apple’s WWDC is scheduled for June 9–13.

Apple has announced its Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC), which will take place from June 9 to June 13 and will be themed “On the Horizon.”

During the event, Apple is expected to reveal new iterations of its key operating systems, including iOS 19, iPadOS 19, watchOS 12, macOS 16, and visionOS 3. This year’s WWDC will be a hybrid event, combining physical attendance with brand-new online group sessions, making it more accessible for developers everywhere.

One of the major highlights will be Apple’s ongoing efforts in intelligent features. Speculation suggests updates will include smarter battery optimization and a virtual health assistant. Though Apple introduced its “Apple Intelligence” initiative last year with high hopes, it has yet to fully resonate with users.

Apple has been gradually introducing AI-powered capabilities like automatically generated emojis, images, and email summaries. However, it recently paused its news summary notifications due to issues with accuracy and has delayed launching the enhanced Siri experience that integrates more deeply with third-party apps.

On the design front, iOS 19, iPadOS 19, and macOS 16 are expected to receive major visual refreshes. Reports from Bloomberg indicate that Apple plans to align these updates with the design style of visionOS, updating icons, menus, apps, windows, and system buttons, while making navigation and controls more straightforward and user-friendly.

In addition, Apple is said to be collaborating with Anthropic to internally test an AI-driven coding assistant. Should these trials prove successful, Apple may introduce this tool to developers during WWDC.
