As 2024 comes to a close, Oppo is gearing up for an exciting start to 2025, with a range of major device launches on the horizon. The global launch of the Reno 13 series is imminent, while the Chinese market eagerly anticipates the release of the Oppo Find N5, Find X8 Ultra, and Find X8 Mini. To heighten the anticipation, Zhou Yibao, Oppo’s Find Product Manager, recently teased the expected timeline for the Find N5’s launch in a post on Weibo.
Expanding on this, a new leak from a tipster on Weibo has allegedly disclosed key specifications of the Oppo Find N5 foldable phone. If correct, these leaks provide an early look at what could become one of Oppo’s most groundbreaking devices yet.
Oppo Find N5: Expected Specifications
Leaked information indicates that the Oppo Find N5 will come with a durable 6.4-inch external display featuring a smooth 120Hz refresh rate for an enhanced user experience. When unfolded, the device will offer a large 8-inch main screen with an impressive 2K resolution and the same 120Hz refresh rate, perfect for gaming, video streaming, and multitasking. The Find N5 is expected to be powered by Qualcomm’s advanced Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, delivering exceptional performance. It will be equipped with a powerful 5700mAh battery and support 80W wired charging for quick recharges.
These upgrades represent a notable improvement over the Find N3, which featured a 4805mAh battery and 67W wired charging. Additionally, the Find N5 may introduce 50W wireless charging, a feature missing in its predecessor, offering greater convenience for users. In terms of storage, the device is expected to come in configurations with up to 16GB of RAM and 1TB of internal storage, accommodating diverse multitasking and storage demands.
For photography enthusiasts, the Find N5 is rumored to sport a triple-camera system inspired by the popular Find X8 series. This setup is said to include three 50MP sensors: a main lens, an ultra-wide lens, and a telephoto lens, providing flexibility for capturing high-quality photos. A front-facing camera is also expected to be placed on the internal folding screen, though detailed information about it is yet to be revealed.
