CMF Phone 1: Leaks Promise Big Screen & Powerful Chip
The CMF Phone 1, Nothing’s new budget phone, is launching in India on July 8th. Leaks suggest the price will be under Rs 20,000 thanks to bank discounts, living up to the phone’s budget-friendly reputation. Here’s what we know so far.
The base model with 6GB RAM + 128GB storage might cost around Rs 15,999 with bank discounts.
A version with 8GB RAM + 128GB storage could be priced around Rs 17,999 after factoring in bank offers.
It’s important to remember these are leaked prices, and the official pricing might be slightly different. We’ll have to wait for the July 8th launch event to know for sure.
Leaked details about the CMF Phone 1’s specs have surfaced! It seems the phone might sport a big 6.7-inch AMOLED display with a smooth 120Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, rumors suggest a MediaTek Dimensity 7300 chip, which could make it a strong contender in the sub-Rs 20,000 phone market (since many competitors use less powerful processors). Of course, we’ll need to wait for official confirmation and reviews to truly judge its performance.
Leaks hint that the CMF Phone 1 might offer expandable storage with a microSD card slot, letting you add up to a whopping 2TB! The camera setup seems to be a dual rear system, with a possible 50-megapixel main sensor and a depth sensor. For selfies, there could be a 16-megapixel front camera. Security-wise, an in-display fingerprint sensor is also rumored.

Leaks suggest the CMF Phone 1 might have a decent-sized 5,000mAh battery, typical for mid-range phones, and support for 33W fast charging. Don’t expect a charger in the box though, as Nothing seems to skip that even with their pricier phones. The phone is rumored to run the latest Android 14, but details on future software updates are still unknown. Stay tuned for more info!
