Infinix Note 40 5G is set to arrive in India on June 21st
Boasting wireless charging and other exciting features.
Following the launch of the Note 40 Pro in India, Infinix is expected to release a more affordable standard Note 40 soon. Leaks suggest the Note 40 will debut on June 21st with unique features like wireless charging, a large display, and a powerful battery.
Infinix released a Pro version of their Note 40 phone in India (priced under Rs 25,000), but there wasn’t a regular Note 40. Now, it seems like they’re getting ready to launch a standard Note 40! Leaks suggest upcoming news about the phone’s features and release date.
Launching on June 21st, the Infinix Note 40 5G boasts a large 6.78-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a slim design thanks to its ultra-narrow bezels (resulting in a 93.8% screen-to-body ratio). This mid-range phone packs a 5,000mAh battery with 33W wired charging, and it might be the first phone under Rs 20,000 to offer wireless charging (reportedly supporting 15W Wireless MagCharge).
The Note 40 5G is expected to have a JBL-tuned sound system with 360-degree sound and a 58% bass improvement over previous models (specific details unknown).
Comparison to Note 40 Pro
Launched in April, the Note 40 Pro has a larger 6.78-inch curved AMOLED display (FHD+, 120Hz refresh rate), higher peak brightness (1300 nits), better dimming tech (2160Hz PWM), Gorilla Glass 5 protection, and a MediaTek Dimensity 7020 processor.
