Mohan Yadav : New CM of MP

Bhopal, December 11, 2023: The Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) today named Ujjain South MLA Mohan Yadav as the new Chief Minister-elect of Madhya Pradesh.  At a gathering held at BJP headquarters in Bhopal, 58 -year – old politician was elected as a leader of the BJP legislative assembly.

Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) leader and Union Minister Narendra Singh Tomar, having settled down from his ministerial role following his victory in recent assembly elections, has been appointed as the new Speaker of the Madhya Pradesh Assembly.

 

“While recognizing myself as a mere servant of the party, I wish to express my profound gratitude to all of you, both state and central leadership. With everyone’s support and trust, I committed to fulfilling my duties diligently.  Yadav remade with a sense of responsibility”.

During the meeting with newly elected BJPs MLAs in Madhya Pradesh, Party observers including Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar , BJP OBC Morcha President K Laxman, and National Secretary Asha Lakra, discussed potential candidates for the state’s chief ministership.

Jagdish Devda, former Finance Minister and MLA representing Mandsaur, and Rajendra Shukla, former Public Relations Minister and MLA representing Rewam were appointed Deputy Chief Minister.
