The air quality in Delhi was moderate on the morning of October 11, with an overall Air Quality Index (AQI) of 156. The AQI at IIT Delhi was 159 and the AQI at Delhi Airport T3 was 200, but both were still in the moderate category. Noida and Gurugram also had moderate air quality, with AQIs of 149 and 152, respectively. Some areas of Delhi, such as Lodhi Road, Ayanagar, and Dhirpur, had slightly worse air quality, with AQIs of 125, 156, and 176, but all were still in the moderate category.

As per the report, delhi air quality is moderate, but some areas have poor air quality. According to data from the Central Pollution Control Board, the AQI in Anand Vihar was 209, the AQI in Wazirpur was 229, and the AQI in RK Puram was 218, all of which are in the poor category.

Air Quality Index (AQI) scale is a measure of air quality. It is divided into six categories, each with a different level of health concern:

  • Good (0-50): Air quality is considered good and poses little or no risk to health.
  • Satisfactory (51-100): Air quality is considered satisfactory, but some people who are unusually sensitive to air pollution may experience respiratory symptoms.
  • Moderate (101-200): Air quality is considered moderate, and people with respiratory disease, such as asthma, should limit prolonged outdoor exertion.
  • Poor (201-300): Air quality is considered poor and may cause respiratory problems, especially for people with heart or lung disease, older adults, and children.
  • Very poor (301-400): Air quality is considered very poor and may cause serious health problems for everyone.
  • Severe (401-450): Air quality is considered severe and may cause life-threatening health problems for everyone.
  • Severe+ (451+): Air quality is considered very severe and may cause immediate health problems for everyone.

Some Areas of Delhi Have Poor Air Quality, Despite Overall Moderate Conditions. The weather office has reported that the minimum temperature in Delhi today was 19.4 degrees Celsius, which is one degree below normal. The humidity is 81%, and the weather department has predicted clear skies for the day.

Delhi’s air quality has been moderate for the past four days. Yesterday at 6 pm, the overall Air Quality Index (AQI) was 180, which is in the moderate category. The relative humidity at 5:30 pm was 46%, according to data from the India Meteorological Department.
