The state cabinet approved a water tourism and adventure sports policy that will be valid for 10 years. Basically, the policy will focus on developing infrastructure, such as water parks, adventure sports complexes, and boating facilities. It will also promote water sports tourism through marketing and branding initiatives
Uttar Pradesh has natural attractions for water tourism, adventure sports, hiking, biking, and more. The new policy will cover all modes of transportation and water bodies and will apply to all adventure activities.
The new policy will cover all land-based, air-based, and water routes, as well as dams, reservoirs, lakes, rivers, and ponds within the borders of Uttar Pradesh. The policy will cover all adventure activities on water bodies and land parcels
The nodal agency will be responsible for setting up adventure sports units at the divisional level, as stipulated by the policy. These units will be responsible for developing and promoting adventure sports in their respective divisions.
Ex-servicemen to get priority in adventure sports units: Jaiveer Singh The Uttar Pradesh State Tourism Development Corporation (UPTDC) will sign an agreement with the Uttar Pradesh Ex-Servicemen Welfare Corporation to make this happen.
Basically, UPTDC, EPSW to sign agreement for PPP development of loss-making tourist houses, heritage tourism units.

Uttar Pradesh Cabinet approves new commission to recruit teachers in government-aided schools.
ESSC conducts teacher recruitment exams for all levels including primary, secondary, and higher education. Accordingly, the commission will also be responsible for setting the syllabus and conducting training for teachers.
The approval of the ESSC Bill is a significant step towards streamlining teacher recruitment in Uttar Pradesh. The fragmentation and inefficiency of the recruitment process for teachers are caused by the fact that it is handled by different agencies at different levels of education. The ESSC will help to ensure that the process is fair, transparent and that the best candidates are selected.
