Delhi Metro Timings on Holi: Train Services will be available partially on all lines, services to begin at 2:30 pm

Delhi Metro Timings on Holi: Delhi Metro timing changed on 8th March, Wednesday, on the day of Holi festival.

According to Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC), the metro service will be available partially on all lines including the Rapid Metro or Airport Express line.

As per the DMRC, Delhi Metro Train Services will start at 2:30 pm on the occasion of Holi.

DMRC on 6th March tweeted that on the festival of Holi, Metro Services will not be available till 2:30 pm on all lines of National Capital. Thus, the train facilities will be available to passengers at 14.30 hrs. (2:30 pm) from terminal stations on all lines on 8 th March and after the day Metro Services continue normally like before.

In addition, Metro Feeder bus services will also be resumed. At Present, Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) manages the functioning and financial support of around 390 km of network, including 286 metro stations, Rapid Metro in Gurugram and Aqua line facility in Greater Noida.

At the same time Delhi Police has also issued a few guidelines for Rango wali Holi celebrations.

The police drew attention to the rules and regulations and underlined that strict actions would be taken against drunk driving on 8th March. The Police Departments further added security arrangements are being made and checking will be conducted to deal with the Rules offenders.

“On the occasion of Holi enough deployment of Delhi police force will be done as per the festival concerns. As the festival Holi gives a meaning of the Victory of good over evil we want all Delhi residents to be safe during the Festival,” SS Yadav Special CP Traffic said.
