President Droupadi Murmu accepted the resignations of Radha Krishnan Mathur as Lt. Governor of Ladakh and Bhagat Singh Koshyari as Governor of Maharashtra, President Murmu also appointed 13 New Governors in states and UT.
The Rashtrapati Bhavan on 12th February, promulgated the names of appointing 12 New Governors for states and 1 Lieutenant Governor in the UT Ladakh. Also, the Governor of Jharkhand, Ramesh Bais has now been appointed as Governor of Maharashtra.

1. Lieutenant General Kaiwalya Trivikram Parnaik, Param Vishist Seva Medal (PVSM), Uttam Yuddh Seva Medal (UYSM), Yudh Seva Medal (YSM) retired as the Governor of Arunachal Pradesh.
2. Lakshman Prashad Acharya to become the New Governor of Sikkim.
3. C.P Radhakrishnan to become the New Governor of Jharkhand.
4. Shiv Pratap Shukla to become the New Governor of Himachal Pradesh.
5. Gulab Chand Kataria to become the New Governor of Assam.
6. S. Abdul Nazeer to become the New Governor of Andhra Pradesh.
7. Biswa Bhusan Harichandan, Governor of Andhra Pradesh now, appointed as the New Governor of Chhattisgarh.
8. Anusuiya Uikye, Governor of Chhattisgarh now, appointed as the New Governor of Manipur.
9. La. Ganesan, Governor of Manipur now, appointed as the New Governor of Nagaland.
10. Phagu Chauhan, Governor of Bihar now, appointed as the New Governor of Meghalaya.
11. Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar, Governor of Himachal Pradesh now, appointed as the New Governor of Bihar.
12. Ramesh Bias, Governor of Jharkhand now, appointed as the New Governor of Maharashtra.
13. Brig. (Dr.) Shri B.D Mishra Retired Governor of Arunachal Pradesh now, appointed as Lieutenant Governor of Ladakh.
