The Gujarat Assembly Poll are going to be held in two dates on December 1 st and 5 th and the conclusion will be proclaimed on December 8 th , the Election commission promulgated this on 3 rd November of the 182 chair in the Vidhan Sabha, 89 will go to polls in the First date Dec 1 st and 93 in the second.
There are more than 4.8 balloter who are permitted or qualified to vote this year. There will be around 51,000 canvassing stations put up, counting around 34,000 in the rural / agricultural hinterland areas.
Chief Election Commission Rajiv Kumar Prior to promulgating the schedule, conveyed consolation to the sufferers of the Morbi bridge accident. He said there was a hold up in promulgating the election schedule due to the tragedy that put an end to at least 137 people.

The much envisioned, inflexible elections are seeing a three- sided election between the Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP), the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) and the Congress. The BJP has been in strength in Gujarat – Prime Minister Modi’s place of residence- for over twenty years.
In the previous election in the year 2017, the BJP secured 99 seats, however the Congress achieved 77, triumphant 49.05 percent and 42.97 percent of the ballot. Over recent years, the Congress coincides reduced to 62, although the BJP’s enlarged to 111.

- Congress – Prior to this election, the party turned out with 77 seats, a rise of 16 and not too behind BJP’s seats. Congress still has many supports, especially in the agriculture hinterland areas, and it can raise the competition if it gets its action together.
