Recently the World Bank has exalted India’s Direct Cash Transfer Scheme, now the IMF i.e International Monetary Fund has also commended says ‘it is a Logistical Marvel’.
Now we can say IMF has also become a great admirer of the Modi Government’s cash transfer scheme IMF exalted India’s Direct Benefit Transfer and added indistinguishable social comfort or welfare programs and termed it as a miracle. Not only this, the IMF has given direction to all the countries to gain an understanding level like India.
Paolo Mauro, deputy director of the IMF’s Fiscal Affairs Department, on 12 October praised the cash transfer scheme of India and called it a ‘Logistical Miracle’ and said there are many things we should learn from India we know about almost every country side and every level of income but when it comes to India, it is truly splendid.
Seeing the country’s huge population, it is really a logistical miracle how these initiatives by the government helps needy and low- income people and in fact reach out to crores of people, he added. He keeps extolling India’s several favorable results in technological transformation pointed out the use of Aadhar, a distinctive identification system in India that helps making the cash transfer scheme a favorable outcome.
Victor Gaspar, director of the Fiscal Affairs Department said now India can be considered as one of the most encourage examples of the newly advanced application of technology that do solve very tangled issues which mainly concern about the people who need it most especially low income groups in India. He also highlighted that African countries innovations are relevant and encouraging as well.
Victor Gaspar talked about countries like India and Africa, and other parts of the world that how there are a lot of things going on almost every day our technologies, innovation our capabilities are increasing in a good way.
World Bank Also Extolled the Indian Government
World Bank President David Malpass has said that the way India has helped the poor and below poverty line people is really praise worthy during the Covid – 19 epidemic crisis actually that was quite extraordinary.
While releasing the ‘Poverty and Mutual Prosperity Report President David Malpass said that other countries should also takes actions like India, now India is able to give food and cash support to 85 percent of households in rural areas and 69 percent of households in Urban areas.
