Commonwealth Games is an international multi – sport event involving athletes from commonwealth countries. The event was first held in 1930, and has been held every four years since then. Currently commonwealth games 2022 taking place in Birmingham England, from 28 July to 8 August 2022.
In 2022 Nations participated 72 commonwealth nations and total Athletes participated number is 5,054. The Game is the largest ever held, with 72 participated nations and ticket sales of 1.2 million.
Over 5,000 athletes from 72 nations competed in 19 different sport. The opening ceremony of the commonwealth Games took place on 28 July 2022 and the closing ceremony took place on August 8 at Birmingham’s Alexander Stadium.

This information was given by the commonwealth Games federation on Tuesday. It was told that the opening ceremony of the games will be held at the Melbourne Cricket Ground in which one lakh people are expected to attend.
