The Ministry of culture will launch ‘ Har Ghar Tiranga ‘ campaign on the occasion of India’s 75th Independence Day. Under this campaign people will be encouraged to hoist the national flag at their homes. This initiative will be a part of ‘ Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav ‘ which will be celebrated as a celebration of 75 years.

The official said that the National Flag is a symbol of National pride for the entire nation and the people of the nation should have full respect for the Flag. He said that the initiative would motivate the public to hoist the National Flag in their homes. The idea behind the initiative is to inculcate the felling of Patriotism in the hearts of the people .

He continued saying that our relationship with the Flag has always been more .

In the program ‘ Mann Ki Baat’

Broadcast on Sunday , July 31, PM Modi had said that ‘ Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav ‘ is turning into a Mass Movement. He had appealed to the public to put the picture of ‘ Tricolor’ as the profile picture of their social media accounts August 2 and 15.

He has appealed to the profile of the country to change their profile picture in the form of a movement to celebrate Tricolor Festival.

Formal and institutional than personal collectively bringing the flag home as a Nation in the 75th year of independence thus becomes a symbol of not only an act of personal connection to the tricolor but also of our commitment of nation building.

More than 500 celebrities will support ‘ Har Ghar Tiranga ‘ campaign

The Union Culture Ministry has approached 500 celebrities to popularize the campaign. The special thing that is added is that from August 13 to 15, the same celebrity will also wish everyone good luck in the three – day selfie with Tiranga campaign.

100 Fest high Tricolor will be hoisted in Gunji on China and Nepal border

The 100 – feet – high tricolor will be hoisted on August 15 in Gunji, situated on the China – Nepal border at an altitude of about 14,500 feet above sea level. The administration has started preparations to hoist the tricolor here at a cost of about Rs 45 lakh. For the first time, the tricolor will be hoisted near the china – Nepal border at such a height.

The program aims to rejuvenate the spirit of patriotism and enthusiasm around Independence Day

It is expected that people will upload their photos on micro – blogging sites, other platforms like Twitter , Facebook and Instagram. Earlier corporate and non – government institutions have also divided to join in. Recently the Ministry of Corporate Affairs allowed to use of Corporate Social Responsibility funds for the har  ghar tiranga campaign .
