SatyaPrem Ki Katha is a new movie starring Kartik Aaryan and Kiara Advani. Movie is already released in theaters on June 29. This is the second time Kartik and Kiara are working together, following their successful movie Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2.
The trailer and songs of SatyaPrem Ki Katha have generated a lot of excitement among moviegoers. As a result, the movie has had strong pre-sales, which is impressive for a medium-sized film after the pandemic.
The movie is directed by Sameer Vidwans, who is making his debut as a director.
This movie is expected to have a good opening at the box office and perform better than Kartik’s previous film Shehzada.
Movie First Day Box Office Collection
Satyaprem Ki Katha had a good beginning at the box office in India, especially because of the Bakri Eid Holiday. Based on early estimates, the movie has collected between Rs. 8.75 to 9.75 crores. It performed well in three popular cinema chains – PVR, Inox, and Cinepolis. However, it didn’t do as well in single-screen theaters.
On the first day, the three cinema chains collected Rs. 5.50 crores, while non-national chains contributed another Rs. 3.50 crores. The movie has received positive feedback from the audience, which indicates that it will continue to do well in terms of collections on Friday. There is expected to be a significant increase in the number of people attending the night shows. If the Friday collections show a drop of less than 20 percent compared to the previous day, it would be a positive sign for the future success of Satyaprem Ki Katha.

Movie has had a better opening compared to Kartik Aaryan’s previous film, Shehzada. The movie’s opening is in line with the typical range of Kartik Aaryan’s films, such as Lukka Chuppi, Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety, Love Aaj Kal 2, and Pati Patni Aur Woh.
The opening collection of Satyaprem Ki Katha is also similar to Kiara Advani’s film, Jug Jugg Jeeyo, released in June 2022. If Satyaprem Ki Katha follows a similar trend to that romantic comedy, it could potentially reach a total collection of Rs. 80 crores by the end of its run.
